Ozarow Mazowiecki is a town located 15 km from Warsaw. It is not a typical tourist resort. In fact it is rather considered as Warsaw’s “bedroom” Its perfect location and relatively low land and estate prices encourage people to move here. Moreover, due to their location near Poland’s capital, Ozarow-based hotels are often chosen by businessmen for their business trips to Warsaw.

Ozarow Mazowiecki is a town in the Masovian Voivodeship, near Warsaw, inhabited by 10,280 people.
One may get from Warsaw to Ozarow by public bus (day line 713 and night line N52) or private bus PKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki. In the town there is also a railway station serviced by Masovian Railways (Polish: Koleje Mazowieckie).
Probably the first settlers appeared in the terrains of present Ozarow in the 9th century BC. It was a good place to settle due to its high quality soils, which favoured the development of farming. The first records about Ozarow come from 1342. At that time it was a duke’s village named Pozarowy.
In the 16th and 17th centuries Pozarowy was one of the largest villages in the current Western Warsaw County. By the end of the 16th century the village changed its name into Ozarow.
