Icons of Prague

What a Gem!

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is considered one of the world’s greatest architectural treasures. Its skyline, dotted with hundreds of Gothic spires, gives the city a fairy-tale charm. The real magic, however, lies in its maze of medieval streets, stunning Baroque, Neo-Renaissance, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco buildings, and its striking contemporary design. Prague’s rich and eventful history makes it a favorite destination for those with a passion for culture and romance.

The city’s left riverbank was historically home to nobility and royalty, with its most significant landmark—Prague Castle. Once the seat of Czech kings and several Holy Roman Emperors, the castle complex, together with the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral, remains Prague’s most recognizable symbol.

Private halfday sightseeing tour of Prague (duration 4 hours)

Start your journey with a panoramic drive through Prague’s New and Old Towns, passing by key landmarks such as the National Museum, the State Opera House, and the National Theatre.

Next, arrive at Prague Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark. Step inside its historic grounds to explore the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral, walk through the impressive Gothic Vladislav Hall, and stroll along the charming Golden Lane, lined with colorful, centuries-old houses.

From there, descend into the Lesser Town, known for its atmospheric streets and baroque charm. Cross the legendary Charles Bridge, taking in breathtaking views of the Vltava River and the city’s skyline.

End your tour at the lively Old Town Square, where you’ll have a chance to admire the world-famous astronomical clock before enjoying some free time to explore at your own pace.
